We get asked which Microsoft plan to buy. Our answer doesn't change: Business Premium, every time, for every client.
The cheaper plans, Basic and Standard, give you email and Office apps. They give you no endpoint protection, no conditional access, no device management, no data loss prevention, and no MFA enforcement. Every one of those is now a line item on a cyber insurance application. If you're running Standard and you tell your carrier you have endpoint protection and conditional access, you don't.
Business Premium is included in our managed stack at no separate charge. We configure the security baseline, conditional access, MFA enforcement, DLP tuned to your industry, Intune device management, Autopilot deployment, during onboarding. Our SOC monitors it around the clock.
You don't pick a Microsoft plan when you work with us. That's part of what you're hiring us to decide.

The three-line plan primer
Business Basic: email and web/mobile Office apps. No desktop Office, no security tooling.
Business Standard: everything in Basic plus desktop Office apps (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Still no security tooling.
Business Premium: everything in Standard plus Intune device management, Microsoft Defender for endpoints and email, Azure AD conditional access, and data loss prevention. This is the plan that lets you truthfully answer a cyber insurance application.
